Lead acid batteries are still extremely common and in fact lead is one of the most recycled metals in the world - about twice as much as nickel on a percentage basis.

We have sealed lead acid bateries available from our domestic supplier (the batteries are made in China) and they are made to meet or exceed the original performance specifications of all the batteries that they replace.
