Devoted to advancing the use of NiMH and Li-ion rechargeable batteries.

Responsible Renewable Energy
If you use lots of rechargeable batteries for devices such as digital cameras, portable music players, PDAs, computer peripherals, games, camera flashes, GPS, FRS radios, or other portable electronics, we'll show you how you can save money by using rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) and Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) batteries.

Every year over 15 billion batteries are produced and sold worldwide. Many are alkaline batteries which are discarded after a single use.  Fortunately, thanks to ongoing advances in both batteries and battery chargers, alkaline batteries can be replaced with higher capacity, environmentally friendly, rechargeable NiMH or Lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries.  What's more, rechargeable batteries are usually much less expensive to use - if you know the right ones to buy and the best way to use them to get the most out of your purchase. Too many people just buy batteries arbitarily and then have a bad experience and just go back to single use throw away batteries.

At this site you'll find up-to-date information on rechargeable batteries and battery chargers.  We'll explain the different types of batteries and offer suggestions for selecting the right batteries.  We will also begin to organise some of our battery information in categories that may be more helpful to the differnet types of customers that we serve. (this was an idea from one of our customers because the more information we add to our website, the more confusing it can get. e.g.- What is helpful and detailed information to a hobbyist or serious consumer may be just too much detail, and potentially confusing, to a casual consumer)

The categories are:

Casual Consumer - Serious Consumer - Hobbyist - Professional - Industrial
